All clothing at Underground Aristocracy is designed by Shumit Basu. He has been creating unique and imaginative designs for over ten years. He studied fashion design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as well as the London College of Fashion. Over the years his designs have been sold to many satisfied private clients. Now, based in New York, he aims to make his clothing more widely available.

All items are custom fitted to the measurements that you provide. For each new order a pattern must be made especially to fit you. It is ideal if you can come by the studio in New York for careful fittings, however we do our best to provide this service to you, no matter where you live.
